April 8, 2010 Neither 30MPH Winds or Low Water can Slow Me Down!!!!

April 8, 2010 Not 30 Mph Winds or Low, Low water could slow me down on my mission today.

Berkley Gulp and Paul Brown rubberback corkies and a keen eye for bait activity helped me limit on reds and catch a Nice 5 1/2 pound Trout. Never Say Die!!!!

April 3rd , Seeing Reds on Lake Calcasieu!!!!

April 3rd was one of the first calm days of spring and Gulp Swimming Mullet brought some nice reds to the cooler! We had a problem that most of the fish we caught were over 27 inches so we had to release most of them and they just wore us out!!!

April Starts with Big Trout and Reds!!!

April 1st started the month with a nice 6# plus Trout on A Broken Back . We had 4 today over 6 pounds. Waded fishing is really getting good!

February 20, 2010 Steve B. and I went scouting and found some nice Reds willing to take our Gulp Swimming Mullets under a cork. They were all 2to 3 lbs and Steve had one nice 2 lb Trout. Things are starting to look like spring!
